''An Ancient Story'', though it's an album that can be heard the whole year, has a winter Christmas feeling into it. Some of the compositions are directly related to the Christmas season, other ones, the Spanish XVI century ''villancicos'' are interpreted mostly in this time of the year, even if most of the ancient texts have no much to do with it :)) (not to mistake with the new Spanish villancicos, hehe)
Hildegard von Bingen, Alfonso X cantigas book, Llibre Vermell, T.L. de Victoria, Juan del Enzina... some of the greatest composers and ancient compilation books with some of their greatest compositions.
